I have just completed a 200 hour teacher training at Shiva Tattva Yoga School, and it has been one of the most transformative, beautiful experiences of my life.
There are some really exceptional teachers here who are passionate, experienced and caring in what they do. The knowledge about yoga and about myself that i have gained here far exceeded my wildest expectations, so much so that I am staying for a second month in a row!
The food is tasty, and the rooms are incredible. I have been backpacking india for 7 months before I came here and the rooms here are crazy clean, modern and well-equipped.
the whole building is kept really clean and all the staff are approachable and friendly. They gave us incredible course text books that were written by enlightened gurus and so you know the information is accurate.
The philosophy lectures were incredibly insightful and the teacher mahesh incorporated modern day psychology in to it and we played interesting games to learn more about ourselves and each other. the anatomy teacher is really great too, he knows his stuff and presents it in a captivating way. he would always help with any non-course related questions we had (such as if we got pains during yoga – he was able to explain to us what to do to not get the pains next time, and he would help straight away, as soon as you asked him for help.) The alignment teacher is so passionate and caring too. he teaches from his heart and will help you with anything too – it really makes the difference to learn from someone who cares about all his students and who has such a passion for yoga that you can not help but be inspired.
The kundalini and pranayama teacher is also phenomenal. he is a hindu sadhu and he lives and breathes the scriptures, so you know what he is teaching you is the truth. he is the world most kind and generous person, always giving his time to help any one in need. he is really wise and knowledgable and he will eloquently answer any question you throw at him, with scriptures to back up his word. You will cry at the music and mantra class also! the classes are really moving and the mantras so beautiful. the morning asana teacher is also amazing – he pushes you to realise how flexible you really are whilst keeping it shanti shanti for the stiff morning practice!
I could go on and on about all the teachers here, but i will leave it for you to find out yourself!
